DVLA auctions seem to have ever more suffix number plates as the supply of prefix number plates has been utilised massively since the DVLA starting selling numberplates in the early nineties. Plates such as AMG80Y and HAT80X literally couldn’t be spelled any other way - hence although demand for the plates my be lower, their potential future value has greater potential.
Whatever happens, we’ll be reporting back with the auction results at the end of the month so stay tuned!
